NORWEGIAN FJORD HORSES
The Fjord horse is a very strong but relatively small horse, originating in the mountainous region of western Norway. It has been used as a farm horse for hundreds of years in Norway, and that is primarily the function of the horses on our farm. The Fjord is one of the world's oldest and purest breeds, believed to be related to the Przewalski, a primitive wild horse of Asia. The Fjord works well both in harness and as a riding horse.

Our breeding program for the Norwegian Fjords is largely to provide farm stock. Our horses are our tractors, and just like a tractor, they sometimes need repair or replacement. We may occasionally have young stock for sale, however, and enquiries are always welcome.
